# Git 大文字小文字の差分表示する方法

画像表示する HP をメンテナンスしていますが、ある日ローカルでは表示するけど、本番で表示されないトラブルがありました。
しかも PC では表示するけど、スマホでは表示されないので、ファイル名を確認したところ、拡張子が大文字になっていました。プログラムは小文字で書いてるのに、実際のファイルが大文字ですね。PC は大文字小文字を無視してくれるけど、スマホのブラウザはもっと真面目に見ているようです。

# git のローカル設定を確認

確認コマンド

git config -l

git config -l はgit config --listの略

local system global の設定を個別に確認する場合はオプションを付ける

core.ignorecase だけを確認するなら

git config -l --local | grep core.ignorecase

# 差分表示しない
# core.ignorecase=true

# 差分表示する
# core.ignorecase=false

core.ignorecase を true から false に変更することで、差分表示されます。

# 差分表示するようにfalseに変更
git config core.ignorecase false

# 差分表示しないようにtrueに変更
git config core.ignorecase true
